The hill is accessible from a number of different directions and the Offa&#8217;s Dyke footpath passes just to the right of it, heading both North and South.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right on the Welsh \/ English border and at the end of this range of mountains &#8211; with no mountains in England until the Lake District North and Dartmoor South &#8211; Hay&#8217;s Bluff has an air of finality about it. The hill drops steeply West, North and East, with the hill being a pointy top of a fine ridgeway walk that follows the Offa&#8217;s Dyke footpath and offers  a landscape of cairns erecting an almost physical border in places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/51421068472\/in\/dateposted-public\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51421068472_bdb601c5de.jpg\" alt=\"Gospel Pass\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>Hay Bluff is on the Eastern side of Gospel Pass. | Tamron Adaptall SP 24-48 @ 24mm, f11.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>From Lord Herefords Knob you drop down into Gospel path before ascending back up to the summit of Hay Bluff.
