In English it is &#8216;Little Skirrid&#8217;, as it is smaller than the nearby Skirrid (Ysgyryd Fawr).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/51246128246\/in\/dateposted-public\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51246128246_1b8bc2d3d0.jpg\" alt=\"Ysgyryd Fach\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>Classic walking up from the layby along the edge of a field. | Tamron Adaptall SP 24-48 @ 24mm, f11.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a good little walk, with plenty of ascent through classic country paths up to a wooded top with good views over to the Sugar Loaf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/51246329518\/in\/dateposted-public\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51246329518_b4a512e2df.jpg\" alt=\"Ysgyryd Fach\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>An open field before heading into the final wooded section. | Tamron Adaptall SP 24-48 @ 24mm, f11.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Parking is at a good sized layby off of the main road and the footpath starts at the end of this. Clearly marked paths with good stiles then take you all the way to the summit in a very direct fashion.
