There are lots of places to park in Glyncorrwg and you can find your way quite easily to the start of the public footpath.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/51679943188\/in\/dateposted-public\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51679943188_c04241ffe2.jpg\" alt=\"Moel y Hyrddod\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>Views from the top near the trigpoint. | Pentax K 28mm f3.5 @ f8.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The start of the public footpath is quite easy to follow, but it is a pretty wet and boggy path in places and steep. It is also a little overgrown in the early forest sections, but I&#8217;ve certainly walked worse. Eventually you join up with some wide forest tracks \/ roads and the walking is then easy for the rest of the route. I didn&#8217;t meet any other walkers, but plenty of mountain bikers around &#8211; so beware taking any of the biking routes as a shortcut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/51679943288\/in\/dateposted-public\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51679943288_e71b427963.jpg\" alt=\"Moel y Hyrddod\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>Another view from the top. |  Pentax K 28mm f3.5 @ f8. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The paths up get you very close to the trigpoint, which is just in a patch of trees that you can walk through quite easily. There are no views from the trig point, but decent views are available nearby, albeit limited by the treeline in some directions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-photo is-provider-flickr wp-block-embed-flickr\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/uponnothing\/51679942898\/in\/dateposted-public\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51679942898_980e77c214.jpg\" alt=\"Moel y Hyrddod\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/><\/a>\n<\/div><figcaption>The trig point. |  Pentax K 28mm f3.5 @ f8. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The walk back follows wide forest tracks and then zig-zags down through the forest with lots of openings with decent views.
