Overview
The Tamron Adaptall-2 28-135mm f4-4.5 is a 4.8x zoom lens, moving from a wide angle to moderate telephoto. The lens is heavy thanks to its metal construction and 17 elements in 10 groups. Whilst in ‘normal’ mode the minimum focus distance is 2m, this is shortened considerably in macro mode – which is engaged by pressing a small button.

Background and availability
Normally available on Ebay for varying prices. Buy-it-now prices tend to be rather high. The lens is readily available as it also fits other Adaptall 2 lenses. It seems to be a reasonably respected lens from online comments and reviews.
Performance and handling
I only used this lens briefly as it was during a period when I had a lot of lenses on the go. It was a nicely built lens with a great range, but I really need to pick up another copy to really comment on whether it was any good or not.
