This is the final hill on a two-day walk – albeit one that started late on day one and finished early on day 2, so in reality it was one day’s walking. After summiting Yr Allt the path continues past the summit along the ridgeway to Fan Bwlch Chwyth which is topped by a trig point, and on a clear day it would have great views.

The path is good and it seems this summit is well visited. Once you get past the trig point the path stays solid until the descent gets steeper and then it is just a case of walking in zig-zags until you get back to the road and then you can walk back easily to the carpark.

This is a hill that might well be worth revisiting one day to take in the views.
